Claire Garabedian: The shared experience of receptive music listening

Dr Claire Garabedian, a professional cellist and certified music practitioner, holds the uniquely titled post of ‘Researcher in Creative Arts and Dementia’. She is currently evaluating several creative arts and dementia projects and is a member of the supervisory team for ‘TAnDem’ (The Arts and Dementia) at the Nottingham-Worcester Universities Doctoral Training Centre.

Claire introduced delegates to the value of shared experience of receptive music listening and the role this can play in supporting people to live well with dementia.
