The first workshop of the Critical Dementia Studies Network took place in March 2019 at Södertörn University, south of Stockholm, Sweden. The two-day event focused on dialogues between dementia studies and critical disability studies (neurodiversity studies) and post-humanism.
Margrit Shildrick (Linköping University), Hanna Bertilsdotter-Rosqvist (Södertörn University), Ruth Bartlett (Southampton University/VID vitenskaplige høgskole) and Nick Jenkins (University of the West of Scotland) held presentations during this workshop.
