I am an ITN Early Stage Researcher, Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow in the DISTINCT project, which aims to improve the lives of people with dementia and their carers through technology. I am affiliated with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in Witten and my PhD is focused on social robots for people with dementia living in nursing homes. I have previously worked with AAL technologies and nursing homes as a research assistant at the University of Copenhagen. I am a cultural anthropologist and primarily work with qualitative and ethnographic methods.
