Dr Anna Brorsson is a registered occupational therapist and a member of the CACTUS (Cognitive ACcessibility and Technology Use when aging in home and Society) research group at the Occupational Therapy division, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden.
Anna’s principal research interest is participation in public space and society outside the home for people with dementia/cognitive impairments.
Anna’s 2013 thesis was titled Access to everyday activities in public space, views of people with dementia. Its aim was to increase knowledge about problematic situations in public space, as perceived by community–dwelling people with dementia, and to raise awareness as to how they address these situations in the course of their everyday activities.
